Eddie Mora was a writer who was under pressure of a
publisher. In his nasty time, he had to finish his work on deadline. Lindy as
his girlfriend supported him morally and materially in order to he could solve
his problems. This film captured Eddie’s apartment condition which was crowd
because of his uncaring. In this situation, Eddie met Vernon who was his
ex-brother in law on unintentionally time. Vernon gave him smart drug that
could maximise ability of thinking.
Even thought Eddie was not prudence to this drug, finally he
tried it. In fact, it increased his mind capacity to be under the impression
that his writing could be penned. Besides it, he also could toil others job
whether it was home activities or not. He addicted this drug. Vernon who the
first person gave it was died suicidally. This part revealed that addiction is
foul effect of something. Using this drug made him felt difficult to separate
between where conscious and unconscious is.
Probability of advanced techno-medicine is might. Sluggishly,
Eddie might solve his need with maintain remnants of the drug. Eddie found a
small pouch of the drug in Vernon apartment when he died. Since this maximising
mind, Eddie looked comfortable and had fully self-esteem which supported him to
success.
He placed on an executive position in a company that gave him large
salary for analysing market oil mechanism. He benefitted these credentials
until his position climbed. Finally, he held political influence to place him
as candidate of mayor in a state in US. If this drug was produced, it could be
reproduced.
This movie really recorded and illustrated a probability of
producing kindly drug by technology and civilising human being towards
incredibly civilisation. Sometime, Eddie showed himself as prototype of addicted
man, yet he flew imagination for techno-medicine progress to the high stage.
